Region code hack panasonic dmp-bd75

Multi region your DVD by clicking here. They supply custom made 'remotes' that send the correct signals to the player to make it region free. What's more, they supply them on a rental basis, so once you have done the job, you can return the kit to them. Further to above, the remote hack only works for making DVD region free. If you want to make the Blu-ray region free, that is a more complicated task requiring the installation of a extra chip not a job for the faint hearted.

And when you say service-remote-control, can you also do it yourself with a One for All remote, or does it have to be a special factory service one? They would not tell me how though it's so frustrating that no one as got the hack yet. You need a service remote check out multiregion magic.

So a service remote isn't the same as a remote with a magic button like the One-for-All remotes? Or am I misunderstanding? I'm getting confused - it's also weird that with such a cheap model there isn't more info online. I have tried a couple of sites and been sent remotes to try but nothing as worked.

I have ordered 1 should be here next week will let you know if it works. It would be great a if it worked and b if the codes would leak then so that I could do it with a One4all remote!

Keep us updated - thanks. Got the remote today and it worked a treat now it's multi-region. Johnrampage Can you post the exact remote and a link to where it can be bought? Thanks for the info and link. I hat to sound like a noob and a pest, but any idea how to get it in Australia?

Is there any way I can convert it to all region player using the custom remote or is it hopeless and I should just throw it away and by an all region player.

Thanks very much. Can you help? It sounds like some kind of child-lock feature or shop-demo mode has been enabled on the DVD player. Try one of the following and let us know which one works. It might be the one that was most likely to happen by accident to lock it in the first place:. Turn the unit off and on again. All settings will return to the default values.

Hi Admin, how are you? It is not in the list, but maybe similar as UB? Best to contact the seller through the eBay link. The custom remote only unlocks DVD region, not Blu-ray. There are various aps such as Peel Smart Remote, so if the codes exist, such an ap could presumably do the region unlock. Ideally, rather than convert the player to Region 0, you could convert it to a different region when necessary.

My old Pioneer DVD player has this kind of region mod which allows for setting the region as often as required. Do I understand that this unlocking devise to change Regions will not be sold to Canada. Why I wonder? Is there a way to purchase one of these remotes? If you message the seller they might be able to send it for you, especially if they send it without the batteries.

They might also be able to suggest a parcel forwarding service you could use. However, if you hold down the OK button and the 1 button on the remote for 10 seconds it should return to normal operation. What a pain!! We purchased our DVD player under the understanding it was multi zone. Maria are you in New Zealand? You should be able to return your player if it was advertised as region-free and turns out not to be. Otherwise this remote will work on your Region 4 players from the list above.

I have used a remote hack before did try it but old batteries still in it so i think its naffed, thanks Stephen. The latest version of these unlocking remotes should work on your player to make it multi-region. Good Luck. Panasonic were paying them to do it so that the customer would incur no cost. Not sure if they are still doing it. Check with your local Panasonic service company.

They need a receipt before they will do it. Any way I can remedy this? Like I said, I have had no issues with this player whatsoever since I bought it. Perhaps the lens just needs cleaning? Also try disconnecting the player from your home network if it is connected. Any help you could give would be much appreciated thanks Jo. Hi Jo, New Zealand is the only country in the world where if you take your Panasonic player to your local official Panasonic service centre they will unlock the region coding for you free of charge.

Let us know if you do this! My player is telling me there is a firmware update ready to download but i am concerned it will undo the unlock and i do not have the unlock remote anymore.

Hi, Hope you can help. So you can use the custom remote to unlock your UB player. Hi does this apply for the Panasonic DMRpwt? Is there no way to do this via the remote that came with the unit? You cannot use the original remote as it is not capable of sending the required signals. Have a Panasonic UB If so — can you advise of shipping cost etc. I wish to unlock it from DVD region 6 to free.

Do you sell the remote hack to Hong Kong? You need to send an eBay message to the seller to find out about shipping to Hong Kong and compatibility with Region 6 players. You can ignore any letters after the numerals. To unlock the Blu-ray zone of your player head over to our Blu-ray player multi-region page. For Blu-ray playback unlocking see our Blu-ray zone unlocking page.

You can ignore any letters EB after the numbers in your model number. You need to use one of the ready-made custom remote controls as shown in the Hardware section above.
