Norton nis 09

Is asking for a - Windows User Password. And reading the error message Indicates Siliconman has got it right! What a Joke! People have been putting in any old password Even Bigger Joke! I wonder just how many of those hundreds of settings NIS 09 has Actually Work!

Not sitting Idle. I could never put NIS 09 on the Desktop. This Is My laptop Not Norton's. The Rest I've Had Enough! I didn't even know this existed! No siliconman01, not for changing the settings in NIS I have so many passwords floating around that I thought I'd skip this one! I've Had An Idea! When I Want! Or Will - NIS Turn - Red. Hi TrDo. If I could Kill the Full Scan That would be enough to keep me happy - For Now!

Quick Scan - Is Done! That makes me wanna - Scream! If They Don't Thanks TrDo. At least you understand where I'm coming from. I've Done It! I've Just Turned Waiting for that dam - Full Scan.. To Start! As soon as you leave your computer NIS 09 will get on with that one. NIS 09 will only do these jobs.. When its good and ready! Even if you let your computer sit idle all day It won't run again until at least 7pm.

If your computer isn't Idle at 7pm It Won't Run.. Until you leave it Idle. If you want it to run the next day Get Me! More Fool You! Burning up electricity Just so Norton can play. The Idea Doesn't Work! They can't admit Different, Light, Fantastic Is just a Chinese Whisper. Is almost as bad as - Norton v2. The Best Norton Was Norton v Not at all - On Others! You must have plenty of time Sitting here defending NIS 09 all day.

I've got the same issues as Zana. Task Scheduler apparently requires a user name and password to run any scheduled task. Unless a User Account with a password is set up, NIS is useless for setting up scheduled full or custom scans. It does not make your electric bill higher. Come now be serious. Even if its on during the day like right now you cannot tell me your going to be on it all day. Eveything works fine on both my pc's. Your really going overboard Zana. AVG is a joke as far as detection and removal.

Idle time works just fine for me. I've escalated that situation within Symantec and it really is being investigated to find out the why's and wherefore's. I don't expect an answer before Monday at the earliest but keep your eyes skinned here for more information.

Hi huwyngr. Very much appreciated. There Is A Problem! I'm Still In Shock! And I shall just run a Full Scan myself.. Once a Week. Electricity Bills.. Are - Rocketing! For each Idle job that NIS 09 needs to do in a day. Then we could at least Get on with our computing lives. T hanks! Doesn't Stop The Idle - Insight Scan.. From Running Though - Does It?

So Your perfect - NIS Can Have It! Go Play! You sure? Maybe 2 or 3 hours. And I always run on-demand scans when I am working on the computer. Doesn't affect my performance, even on a outdated P4, wheter its Insight, Quickscan, LiveUpdate, etc. Back to top. Zana Regular Contributor 5. Reg: Apr Kudos 0.
